The WPCampus community is thrilled to announce that registration for WPCampus 2023 will open next week on Wednesday, February 22, 2023.
And registration won’t be the only thing up for grabs: you will also be able to reserve your on-campus lodging, respond to our call for presenters, and become a sponsor.
Visit the WPCampus 2023 website for more information about the event.
General Admission tickets (July 13-14)
The cost of your General Admission ticket will cover attendance of sessions on July 13 and 14, lunch on July 13 and 14, and all social and networking events from July 12-14.
The cost of General Admission is $200 per person. But if you act fast, you can purchase an “early bird” ticket for $150 through April 26.
General Admission and all registration for the event will close on Friday, June 30, 2023.
Workshops will take place on July 12 and cost extra/are not covered by the General Admission ticket.
- General admission: $200 per person
- Open through Friday, June 30, 2023
- “Early bird” price of general admission: $150 per person
- Open through Friday, April 28, 2023
Workshops (July 12)
Workshops will take place on the afternoon of Wednesday, July 12, and are not included as part of your General Admission ticket. However, a General Admission ticket is required to attend a workshop.
The cost of a workshop ticket is an additional $50 per person.
There will be 2-3 workshops that will take place at the same time; therefore, each attendee can only attend one workshop.
Since workshop topics won't be announced for another month or two, you can "reserve" a workshop slot as part of your registration. Once topics are announced, we will reach out via email for you to select which workshop you wish to attend.
The workshop fee helps us with facility costs and to provide refreshments/a snack break.
- Workshop ticket: $50 per person
- Open through June 30, 2023
- A General Admission ticket is required to attend a workshop.
On-campus lodging
We are excited to offer on-campus housing again for this year's event, which helps to keep travel costs low.
Lodging will reside in Tulane dorm housing on campus and within a short walk of the conference venue. Lodging will include two options: a single occupancy room (no more than one person assigned) and a double occupancy room (have no more than two people assigned). The lodging rate will be charged on a per-person, per-night basis.
The rooms will include linens, air conditioning, and Wifi. However, with the exception of toilet paper, lodging will provide no bathroom supplies.
We are still working with Tulane housing to confirm the final details and rates and will be able to share the final pricing within the next few days. We will keep the Travel page on our website up-to-date. To give you an idea, the double rooms will most likely be $50 per person, and the single rooms will most likely be $60 per person.
The ability to reserve lodging will open with registration and can be booked as part of your event registration form. There will also be a separate lodging form if you need to book lodging separate from registration.
Call for proposals
WPCampus 2023 will be looking for stories, how-tos, hypotheticals, demos, case studies, and more for our annual in-person conference focused on WordPress and accessibility in higher education.
As in past years, we’ll be looking for a variety of topics on anything that might bring value to our community. WordPress, higher education, and accessibility are key themes, but we want people to share their experiences in various web-related areas: design, development, strategy, management, usability, governance, etc.
Knowledge-sharing is one of the keystones of higher education, and the WPCampus conference is a great opportunity to share what you've learned with your peers.
The call for WPCampus proposals will open next week on Wednesday, February 22, 2023.
Call for sponsors
Our call for sponsors and the publishing of our sponsorship packages will also take place next week.
If you are interested in becoming a sponsor of WPCampus 2023, visit the event website to learn more and submit your interest. You can also contact us by email at sponsors@wpcampus.org.
Our Public Health and COVID policy
