ICYMI: WPCampus is co-hosting a free online event with Human Made next week on Thursday, July 18.
The event will draw on key themes relevant to everyone working with WordPress in higher education and should provide a great preview of what's to come later this month at WPCampus 2024.
You can still sign up for both events!

Here are some of the key themes you'll be hearing about across the two events:
Doing more with less
We all know that delivering website and platform projects in a higher education setting means you have to work smart. We're working with all the complexities that exist in other enterprise builds, but often with more limited resources. That's why we're putting case studies and advice front and center. At both events, you'll hear from peers solving the same challenges you're facing!

Accessibility
University websites and web platforms have to cater to a diverse range of users—both internally and globally. This means it's incredibly important that the sites we create are as accessible as possible. One organization that has raised the bar here with its recent relaunch is Harvard Gazette—we're bringing the inside story of the work that went into the creation of its fantastic new website.

Open source for all!
From its lower barrier to entry and community support to the flexibility and data ownership it offers, we're all (clearly!) sold on the benefits WordPress brings to those of us working in the higher education sector.
Both events will celebrate open source in our sector - and WPCampus is excited to be hosting a panel discussion at the event on 18 July, which will take a deep dive into open source, and highlight the ways it will continue to enable us all to do more with less in the higher education space.
