Proposals are open for WPCampus’s September 17 summit, “Leading on Accessibility in Higher Education”!

As higher education increases its focus on accessibility, it becomes clear that while building a culture of accessibility requires technical knowledge, it also takes leadership. Advocating for complex conversations and large-scale change is difficult but crucial, and it cannot be done alone.

Campus champions have long worked to encourage their institutions to re-evaluate assumptions and forge new, more inclusive practices, and momentum is building. More champions are stepping up every day, demonstrating to their campuses that accessibility is possible, approachable, and necessary.

In “Leading on Accessibility in Higher Education”, WPCampus will highlight that work. We are looking for speakers to share their stories of what’s worked, connect with the broader community, and find support and strategies to go further.

The Call for Proposals is open through August 15. This professional development event is online, free to attend, and open to all.
